The Christian Interpreters Conference is now a ministry of Word Access in partnership with Sonshine Interpreting.

WHERE WE CAME FROM

Since 2009, Deaf Missions has faithfully and beautifully organized the Christian Interpreters Conference. This event has provided community and education for thousands of Christian interpreters worldwide. Deaf Missions has commissioned Word Access 501(c)(3) and Sonshine Interpreting to ensure this legacy continues.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

The Christian Interpreters Conference will now be a ministry of Word Access, working in partnership with Sonshine Interpreting. We are honored to continue a tradition of excellence. We hope to welcome even more members of our growing community, building on the foundation built by Deaf Missions.

Sonshine Interpreting and Word Access team members have been attending the Christian Interpreters Conference for years. We are all better interpreters and leaders because of the time spent with our colleagues and investing in each other’s professional development. We are honored to pick up the baton from the Deaf Missions team and carry this important gathering forward for years to come!
