**Volunteer Interpreting**
CIC is committed to accessibility for Deaf, hearing, DeafBlind, novices, and professionals. We seek Deaf and hearing Christian volunteers to provide interpreting during the conference.

Is the conference in Broken Arrow or Tulsa?
Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center is located in Broken Arrow, OK.
Broken Arrow is a large town that is part of the Tulsa Metro area.
You will want to fly into Tulsa International Airport (TUL)

Will there be an airport shuttle?
Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center will provide a complimentary airport shuttle between the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM
If you arrive outside of those hours, you will need to secure your own transportation.

What is our room rate at Stoney Creek?
We have an incredible rate of $125/night plus tax for a King or two Queen beds.
Rooms include: Complimentary Breakfast, WIFI & Parking; Iron/Ironing Board, Microwave, Mini Fridge, Keurig Coffee Maker, Hair Dryer

Can we make hotel reservations?
Yes - our room block is available now for reservations and will remain open as long as rooms are available or until 6/9/26.

Is Breakfast included in the hotel room rate?
Yes - breakfast from the hotel breakfast room is included in the rate.

Will you sell exhibit space?
Yes - exhibit space is limited and will be offered to sponsors first.
Any available spaces will open up to the public around the first of the year.

How many CEUs can we earn?
Between 1:00 pm Thursday and Saturday evening, a minimum of 2.0 (20 hours of) CEUs can be earned.

Will there be a Deaf Leader's component to the conference?
There will not be a Deaf Leaders’ Track; this will be a conference for interpreters.
That said, the Christian Interpreters Conference highly values the role of Deaf leaders at the conference in various ways. Deaf people are welcome and encouraged to attend, knowing that sessions will be prepared for those working in the interpreting field.

What is the official language of the CIC?
All main-stage general sessions will be fully accessible with interpreting provided in both American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English to ensure equal access for Deaf and hearing attendees.
Breakout workshops will be offered in the presenter's language of choice, which is often their heart language. All workshops that are presented in spoken English will be interpreted into ASL. Workshops that are presented in ASL will not be voice-interpreted. Attendees are encouraged to select workshops that best match their language skills and comfort level.
Accommodations for DeafBlind or low-vision guests are available upon request with sufficient advance notice to allow services to be secured. Requests should be indicated on the registration form.
The primary language of the conference will be ASL and spoken English. Requests for additional spoken or signed languages will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Is my Registration refundable?
The refund and cancellation policy is as follows:
If a registrant is unable to attend, a full refund less 25% can be requested in writing/e-mailed up to 30 days prior to the first day of the conference.
Registrations are transferable up to the first day of the conference!
In the unlikely event of dire or unforeseen circumstances (such as a natural disaster or national emergency), Word Access reserves the right to cancel the conference. Word Access will communicate any decision to cancel with those registered and will refund appropriate registration fees.
